A fast, safe and economical family cruiser which is also a home in the sun!
'MOONRAKER' has been re-engined with a superb Yanmar 240hp turbo diesel and a brand new Bravo II outdrive. She is a rare catch - most of these boats come with a gas-guzzling 7 litre petrol engine!
Not this one - she is as economical as it comes.
She is currently in the Med on our owned-berth and will cruise at 25 plus knots: the Yanmar has only 200 hours and the outdrive only eleven hours and I have catalogued and filed virtually every single document, invoice and worksheet on the vessel from new.
She's classed as a six berth but we find it more comfortable as a four berth in two double cabins. JVC radio/CD quad speakers below and above.
Full covers with new zips and windows replaced 2009, strips down to a bimini and also includes a brand new tonneau cover (unused).
Includes a C-TREK large screen colour plotter/vhf radio/all electric heads and shower/aft shower/bathing platform and retractable ladder/fully equipped galley/duel fuel cooker/water heater/depth sounder/fore and aft bilge pumps/ready for cruising.
Also fitted with an outboard bracket on the bathing platform. |

This boat is on a mooring on the Costa Blanca in a major marina at a rental of under 1700 Euros per year.It is in very good condition and has just been antifouled etc and had a new navigation certificate. It is Spanish flagged so there are no problems with using it for a floating appartment or simply for fishing cruising etc. It can be changed back to SSR virtually overnight if you require it to be registered back on UK flag for aprox. 200 Euros. The marina is Close to Alicante and Murcia airports with the cheap fare structures.. If you require full details go to the Beneteau web site and look up the Antares 980 This one is fitted with Volvos 230 TAMD and has pretty comprehensive extras etc. I am interested in either selling the boat or doing a px cash either way for a suitable river/estury cruiser Corvette/Broom /Aqua Star/Birchwood or similar with a fairly low airdraft in the UK or France if you have any suggestions please contact me I can arrange delivery of this boat to the UK if required |
